THE MEANING OF SYMBOLS

On my first visit to a Graveyard/Cemetery, I was struck by the symbols I saw on the stones and wondered if these symbols had specific or secret meanings. This led me to research the meanings. Please review my resource page to see the books, articles, and websites I used to research this project.

Once I started researching the meanings of symbols, I was stunned by the different symbols found and their meanings, implied or in-depth. Sometimes, symbols in one culture have a different meaning in another. 

I have done my best to find the correct meaning of the symbols.
